Sakhile Rampa is a Cape Town–based photographer with a cinematic eye and a deep curiosity about people and place. Shaped by a life lived between Botswana, the United States, and South Africa — and informed by travels across multiple continents — his work carries a strong sense of presence, rhythm, and environment.

He studied at the Savannah College of Art and Design and the Columbus College of Art and Design, and has built a foundation in Cape Town’s film and television industry within the Art Department. This dual perspective informs a way of working that is both intuitive and precise.

At its core, his work is about connection — capturing people, places, and moments as they are felt.
